Based on your arrival time, our representative will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the railway station to help you board Gatimaan Express on time.
Your train will depart at 8:10 am and you will arrive at Agra around 9:50 am. Breakfast and tea will be served on train by our representative.
At 10:00 am, you will be taken to visit the Taj Mahal, which is popularly known as the symbol of true and eternal love. Mughal Emperor built this monument as a tribute to the memories of his dearly loved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. More than 20000 labors worked on this monument and it took over 21 years to complete this work of genius.
After Taj Mahal, your next stop would be at Agra Fort, built by Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Construction of the Agra Fort began in the year 1565 and it was completed in the year 1573. It was the chief residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638, and after that Delhi became the new capital of Mughal dynasty.
At 1:30 pm, you will enjoy a delicious lunch filled with variety of Indian and foreign cuisines in a posh restaurant of Agra.
After lunch, you will be driven to visit Tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah, also known as Baby Taj. Mirza Ghiyath Beg, who was the father of Nur Jahan, was the given the title of I'timad-ud-Daulah. He was on the post of Lord of treasure of the Mughal Empire and later on, became the Wazir at the time of Jahangir. Approximately seven years after the death of Mirza Beg, Nur Jahan accomplished the construction of the Tomb in 1628 AD.
In the evening, you will be free to explore the local markets of Agra where you will be able to find various quality handicraft products that represent rich culture and heritage of Agra and India.
You will be driven to railway station so that you could board your train to Delhi on time at 5:50 pm.
At 7:30 pm, you will be arriving at Delhi, and from there you will be dropped at your next destination based on your preference, whether you want to stay in the city or carry on your journey to a new destination.
